At our education event in Chicago in March, we announced a brand-new app for teachers called Schoolwork. Schoolwork allows teachers to easily share content with their students, leveraging the power of your apps. And then, they can view student progress across all of their work within those great apps. VIPKid Teach is a very popular Android Education app. It is developed by VIPKID and published to Google’s PlayStore and Apple’s AppStore. VIPKid Teach has got a very good number of installations around 100,000+ with 4.0 out of 5 average user rating.

I just started with VIPkid and all through my interview, mock classes, demos, and first 4 classes I've had no problems with my microphone. Most laptops and desktop computers are suitable for VIPKid. Once you are a hired teacher, you’ll also be able to use an iPad to teach (but you currently need a PC or a Mac to complete the hiring process). Currently, you are unable to teach VIPKid classes from a Chromebook. People often ask Tina what computer she uses for teaching and for video-recording.

Administrator privileges are required to modify Screen Recording privacy permissions.

If you want to manage these settings centrally, use an MDM solution. In some cases, User Approved MDM is required for centrally managing the settings.

Complete the following tasks for the appropriate macOS that is running on the teachers’ computers to configure macOS security and privacy settings and allow SMART Notebook and related software to work as expected:
